Find every Blesta service with a custom price override, preview what would change, and reset or update those prices to your current package pricing. This guide covers installation, the settings, syncing and the audit log.
Installation and setup #
1. Requirements #
-
Blesta 5.x or 6.0.
-
PHP 8.1 or later.
-
The free Blesta Topeta Framework (the
topeta_helperplugin). It activates your license key.
2. Install the Topeta Framework #
If it isn’t installed yet, follow the Blesta Topeta Framework guide first. You only need it once for all Topeta Blesta products.
3. Upload the files #
-
Download the plugin .zip from Downloads & updates in your account.
-
Extract it into your Blesta root folder (for example
/var/www/html/blesta/). The files go into/plugins/override_price_sync/.
4. Install the plugin #
-
In Blesta, go to Settings → Company → Plugins → Available.
-
Click Install next to Override Price Sync.
5. Activate your license #
-
Go to Tools → Topeta Helper.
-
Enter the Override Price Sync license key from Licenses in your account and click Save License Keys.
-
The status changes to Pro activated (or Pro trial is activated for a trial key).
6. Upgrading #
-
Extract the new .zip over the existing files.
-
Go to Settings → Company → Plugins → Installed and click Upgrade next to Override Price Sync.
Opening the plugin #
-
Tools → Override Price Sync, or
-
Settings → Company → Plugins → Installed → Manage next to Override Price Sync.
Settings #
Click Save Settings after changing anything. The preview and every sync use the saved settings.
Price Adjustment Method #
-
Clear Override Price Completely: removes the custom price and its currency from the service. Future renewals use the standard package price.
-
Set Override Price = Current Standard Package Price: sets the custom price to the package’s current renewal price, in the service’s currency.
Price Change Direction #
-
All Price Changes: services whose new price is higher or lower.
-
Price Increases Only: only services where the standard price is higher than the custom price.
-
Price Decreases Only: only services where the standard price is lower than the custom price.
Exclusions #
-
Excluded Packages, Excluded Package Groups and Excluded Client Groups: select one or more.
-
Excluded Clients: client IDs separated by commas, for example
104, 215, 309.
Package edit automation #
When When a package is edited, automatically sync the overridden services on that package is on, saving a package syncs the overridden services on that package only, using your saved settings.
Preview and sync #
-
Save your settings, then click Preview Affected Services (Dry Run).
-
Check the Services With Price Overrides table: client, service, package, current override price, new standard price, price difference (green for an increase, red for a decrease) and term. Prices are shown in the service’s currency. A ⇄ icon means the package has no price in that currency for the term, so the price was converted with your Blesta exchange rates.
-
Tick services and click Sync Selected Services, or click Sync All Filtered Services to change every service in the table.
Only active and suspended services are included. Existing invoices are never changed.
Scheduled sync (optional) #
The Sync Override Service Prices automation task is installed switched off, so nothing changes until you decide.
-
Make sure the preview with your saved settings shows exactly what you want changed.
-
Go to Settings → Company → Automation, find Sync Override Service Prices and click Edit.
-
Enable it and choose a time, for example daily at 00:00.
Recent changes (audit log) #
The Recent Changes table on the plugin page shows the last 25 changes: date, client, service, old price, new price and what triggered the change (a manual sync and the staff member, the scheduled task, or a package edit). To undo a change, open the service in Blesta and set the price shown as Old Override Price.
Licensing #
-
Valid license or trial: everything works.
-
Lifetime license with expired updates: everything keeps working; only updates and support need renewal.
-
Missing, invalid or expired trial license: the plugin page shows a warning, and syncing, the scheduled task and package edit automation do nothing. The preview still works so you can audit your prices.
On a Blesta installation with several companies, install the plugin and enter the key in each company that uses it.
Troubleshooting #
No services show in the preview #
Only active or suspended services that have a custom price are listed. Check that your exclusions or direction filter aren’t hiding them, and that you saved the settings.
The sync says a license is required #
Install the Blesta Topeta Framework, enter your key under Tools → Topeta Helper and save. If you saved the key before installing this plugin, save it again.
The scheduled task isn’t doing anything #
It’s installed switched off. Enable it under Settings → Company → Automation and check the license status.
Prices in the preview look converted #
The service has a custom price in a currency the package has no price for, for that term. Add a price in that currency to the package if you want an exact amount.
